Mewtwo

Mewtwo is the first genetically modified pokemon. Mewtwo has seen the horrors of mankind and is against the current relationship of Pokemon and humans. Due to the horrible tests and brutality that Mewtwo faced, Mewtwo gained class consciousness and realized Pokemon were a mere tool for humans to gain wealth. In an effort to not be exploitated by the human race, Mewtwo plans to hold a rebellion and lead the Pokemon towards liberation from the shackles of humankind.

I can understand where Mewtwo is coming from, understanably so I support Mewtwo in making strides towards the relationship between humans and Pokemon. While there might be other solutions that are not so violet, as a human, those are not my shots to call.

Mew

Mew has similar if not identical goals to Mewtwo, however Mew takes a more passive approach. Instead of taking a hostile approach to the situation Mew wants to settle relations with the humans through non-violent means. Since Mew holds the dna of all the Pokemon wihtin itself, Mew values the lives of Pokemon dearly and is not willing to risk putting their own lives at stake. Mew believes humans can and will understand, and taking a violet approach will only extend that.

I can see how Mew sympathizes towards the mass. I think Mew is a popular canidate because of how Mew connects to the Pokemon. I also appreciate Mew's approach since it addresses actions towards non-violent movements. I do think they can use their differences as strengths in order to achieve their similar goals.
