Peanuts Ambassador program
The underlined heading falsely makes the user think that it's a clickable element. Similarly, the bolded 'GIPHY' is clickable which,
as a user, can be confusing because shortly after there are underlined and bolded elements to highlight clickability.
The structure of a story arc can help benefit understanding users since stories use them as a form of keeping the audience engage and other various methods to build something up within the viewer/user. Tapping into the visceral, behavioral, and reflective design experiences that are seen through an audience lets us create a more meaningful product.
The font's size, color, type, style (bold/italics), color, position, and alignment.
A good example of can be seen here: Peanuts The 'TAKE CARE' is larger, in a different style, and bolder than the rest of the text, helping us read that first. We then naturlly follow left to right using alignment to read 'with' in different style, size, and font. We then finish it with 'PEANUTS' in the classic font we are familiar with.
Project Overview | A website that contains some of my favorite artworks across a multitude of meidums. The website will showcase art from different eras and organized in a unique way helping audiences look at new art they might not be so familiar with. |
Problem | A lot of our favorite pieces of meida is scattered across multiple platforms; apps like letterboxd for film, ratemymusic for music, etc. I want to show the importance of having it all in one place. A person's taste says a lot more about them than any social media. |
Audience | Art enthusiants and casual admirers; There are many peolpe who enjoy just experiencing art at the surface level and being able to spread that is important. |
Competition | Google Arts and Culture, virtual museums, and specialized art related social media platforms. While they all have abundant information they also lack personality, shedding importance on having a personalized collection of art you admire is the goal here. They also tend to lean towards commericalized experinces. |
Key Messages | A love letter to art from someone who enjoys art. This helps emphasize unqiue pieces of art and gives meaning to them in relation to my personal taste, offering context on who I am as a person. This could reflect in the viewer themselves and inspire them to consume more or give meaning to why they like certain things. |
Call to Action | Highly accesible to people who have a limited or no understand of art, exploring a collection of art that you may have never interacted with before. |
How to Measure Success | Certain metrics like page views and how long they've spent on the site. Seeing how many shares on social media, and seeing what feedback I am given from people within the class and friends outside. Also asking people if it inspires them to want to make something similar. |
